Pursuant to UTAH CODE ANN. §63G-6a-802, public notice is hereby given that South Valley Water Reclamation Facility ("SVWRF") intends to conduct a sole source procurement for the purchase of new Huber high performance grit washing units consisting of two or three RoSF45 Coanda® units and award the procurement to Huber Technology, Inc.

This procurement involves the purchase of two or three high performance grit washing units complete with inlet hopper, conical chamber, removal auger, stirrer, and other appurtenances. The pre-negotiated pricing will be included in the SVWRF's Project 5 Bid Documents. The grit washing units will be installed by a contractor who will be selected through competitive bids.
The Huber RoSF45 Coanda® selection by SVWRF is based on guaranteed performance parameters including: loss of organics < 5%, dewatered grit dryness > 90%, and grit retention > 95% for 100 micron sand equivalent size particles as confirmed by third party testing. Huber has over 2000 RoSF4 installed. SVWRF has proceeded with design of the new advanced grit removal facility in consideration of the Coanda®units. Building and room sizes, room location, and mechanical piping requirements have been chosen to meet the design requirements of the planned new grit washer units.
The fmal decision for this sole source procurement will be made no earlier and no later than February 20, 2019.
